As per the Bylaws, there are specific front entry and storm door requirements for replacing the existing ones. For example, the storm door is a specific branded style which is custom ordered, the front door only has two style options that are approved for our development, and both have exact color requirements.
The Council has identified the manufacturer and specifications of the front entry and storm doors which comply with our Bylaws and has streamlined the process to ensure that all future replacements are consistent unit-to-unit in conjunction with our Bylaws.
On behalf of the Association, the Council was able to secure special discounted pricing for the custom storm door, with guaranteed pricing unit-to-unit. After careful review and consideration, Lowes has been selected as the recommended vendor to perform the measurement and installation of all front entry and storm doors. The ProServices Desk at Lowes in Oaks is informed of the process of approval for our Association and will work in conjunction with the Unit Owner and Association to ensure a seamless process for quality replacement and installation. This contractor has been providing service and workmanship to the PF community and they are easily accessible. All work will be warrantied and completed to your satisfaction while meeting the requirements of the Association.

HARDWARE for all front doors should be a gold finish.
Once installed, your front entry door must be painted with Providence Forge Red paint, which may be purchased at your local Sherwin Williams store. You may paint the door yourself; alternatively, you may request that Maintenance paint your door, though if you choose this option, we ask for a time when you can leave the door ajar for up to 8 hours to ensure that the paint has had enough time to cure and dry.
The Association is required to review and approve all home renovations $1,000 or greater, including window replacement, as per our Bylaws. To ensure due diligence, the Association requires that the Unit Owner complete and submit an Architectural Request Form PRIOR to the commencement of any work. This form may be found on our website, or you may contact the office to obtain a copy. Please attach a copy of your project quote to the Architectural Request Form.
Once you have submitted the completed request form and quote for work being performed, the Council will review and approve at the following Council meeting. Council meets monthly, but in a rush, we will do our best to act on any time-sensitive matters to assist you. The Unit Owner and contractor receive notice of approval or a request for further information.
