PF Lighting & Wiring Project Plans

Common Element Lighting and Electrical Wiring Project Has Officially Begun
Please see below for the specs and placement of the new light poles and lampheads throughout Providence Forge, as well as photometrics that will show illumination from several different planes. We are confident that you will find that the upgraded lighting will not only reduce overall lighting and electrical costs, they will also provide greater safety and security for our community. The selected lighting is simple yet tasteful and aesthetically pleasing, as well as provides uniformity throughout. We anticipate an increase in property values as an added bonus.
You may have noticed that the construction crews started making their way around the community this week, marking lines and beginning to dig for placement of new wiring and lighting throughout. It’s important to be aware of who is around you at all times. As such, we thought it was a good time to send a reminder of who you can expect to see and when you can expect to see them, in and around the community.
Utility companies are generally donned in bright yellow sweatshirts or reflective gear. The lighting contractors will be wearing shirts that display their Sceptor Power Solutions logo (seen at right). You may see these workers going into the closets that contain water main shut-off valves, as well as coming close to the buildings themselves. These people are safe and are supposed to be on our grounds. Contractors could be on site as early as 7:00am until as late as 7:00pm, but generally, work will be done between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm.We do not expect any interruptions in water, electric or utility service, so please kindly report any outages immediately. The project is expected to take about 4 months to complete and it is broken down into three phases. We appreciate your patience during this time, as there is a lot of work to be done in installing new wiring and the lighting. If you see anyone else that looks suspicious or is involved in suspicious activity, do not hesitate to call the Upper Providence Twp. Police at (610) 933-9179, or simply dial 911.

Please visit our website to see future updates on this project.  As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Office at (610) 948-6714 or our Maintenance Shop at (610) 948-6105.

Thank you!
