To ensure a smooth transition into the rental of your unit, we strongly recommend owners contact the Providence Forge office in advance to review the procedure involving the rental of your unit and to request the current rental rates. All owners who lease their units are required to complete the documents found in the New Renter Lease Approval Process packet.
Our governing documents require Council to approve the lease (Right of First Refusal) prior to your tenant moves in. For due diligence, the Association must have a current lease on file. The New Renter Lease Approval Process packet details the process and provides several forms which must be included with your lease when submitted for Council Approval. In addition, as Council meets on the second Thursday of the month, adequate time must be allowed for this process.
Should your tenant move in before Council approves the lease documents, the Providence Forge Homeowner’s Association Handbook mandates a $100 fine. Be sure to download and complete the New Renter Lease Approval Process packet, which can be found in the Homeowner section of our website under Leasing Policies and Procedures.
