Window and/or Slider Door Replacement

Have you been considering window and/or slider replacement in your unit at Providence Forge? Now just might be the time!

Please read the following which will clarify the process for which all window and slider door replacement projects must undergo PRIOR to any work being done.

As per the Bylaws, there are specific window and slider requirements for replacing the existing ones. For example, the windows must meet the 8 over 8 with slats; both windows and sliders must match the defined color selection on the outside, and the white color on the inside is now standard. As such, the Council has identified the manufacturer and specifications of the windows and sliders, and has streamlined the process to ensure that all future replacements are consistent unit-to-unit in conjunction with our Bylaws.

On behalf of the Association, the Council was able to secure special discounted pricing for the custom windows and sliders that are required, with guaranteed pricing unit-to-unit. After careful review and consideration, Carranza Roofing and Remodeling has been selected as the only approved vendor to perform the installation of all windows and sliders going forward. Carranza Roofing is well informed of the process of approval for our Association and will work in conjunction with the Unit Owner and Association to ensure a seamless process for quality replacement and installation. We are confident in our choice of this contractor, as they have been providing excellent service and workmanship to the PF community for over a decade. All work will be warrantied and completed to your satisfaction while meeting the requirements of the Association.

The Association is required to review and approve all home renovations $1,000 or greater, including window replacement, as per our Bylaws. To ensure due diligence, the Association requires that the Unit Owner complete and submit an Architectural Request Form PRIOR to the commencement of any work. This form may be found on our website, or you may contact the office to obtain a copy. Please attach a copy of your quote from Carranza Roofing and Remodeling to the Architectural Request Form.

Once you have submitted the completed request form and quote for work being performed, the Council will review and approve at the following Council meeting. Council meets monthly, but in a rush, we will do our best to act on any time-sensitive matters to assist you. The Unit Owner and Carranza Roofing and Remodeling will receive notice of approval or a request for further information.

The quote below shows 2018 original pricing, as Carranza has never had a price increase until now.***
